Started this one quite some time ago, made decent headway for a while then it got sidelined. Not certain exactly why although I do recall scratching my head over some pump panel detail items. Dodge L700 fire truck based on photo of real one found in a book on Thibault fire trucks (Canadian apparatus supplier that was located in the province of Quebec)

Nice truck! That book has a photo of an FWD based truck, by Thibeault, (also a Dodge cab, a C series), that was bought by the Town of Dalton , Massachusetts. It was a convertible. Our department in Savoy, MA bought it from them. Had a huge Wakesha gas engine in it. We got sick of the convertible, so we grafted a roof and doors into it from a C series Dodge oil truck. We used the roof, windshield and frame, rear window, heater, windshield wiper system, and the doors on the Thibeault and put the tank on a Mack GI surplus M52 five ton truck to make a 2800 gallon tanker. That was back before 9/11 when small rural fire departments couldn't get any funds, so we built or modified our own trucks. Sure made that old girl nicer to use on a cold wintry night!! That build you're doing is very cool!
