This section is set up for our fallen friend Win. He has brought us plenty of comfort and ideas for us all to cherish. He has been very helpful when we all had problems with our builds and always had a good attitude towards all the members here. He was a kind and generous person and I myself have never met him in person but gave me that feeling that we were friends forever. I would send him parts needed to complete projects he worked on and I know he has done the same for others. He was a good man, A fellow Trucker, A good person that will be missed a lot. In all of his builds you can see the love he had for this hobby and also for the love for his wife Dian. Who if not for her Win wouldn't have his build completed. He would not know what color to paint them. She was his co-pilot not only in life but in this hobby that he loved so much. Win Heaven left the porch light on for you and you may leave the spotlight on for us. Rest In Piece Friend you are missed. Please leave your comments about Win below.

The model trucking hobby lost a great man here on the Earth, but someday we'll all be able to join together at that big group of modelers in Heaven.

Win Hill---A real man who served God, Country, and Family. And a man who took time in this hobby with us young'uns and checked on us like a father. We will see you again one day , my friend. And for Dian, his soulmate and partner, God will help you thru this time as only He can.

I too will miss Win because he was always asking me how I was doing with my health issues and also willing to help when I was having an issue with one of my builds. There are not many like him or his wonderful wife Dian left in this world and that is truly a shame. Thanks guys for the tribute to them both.
Sincerely
Paul D. Black AKA Paulie

I haven't been around here for that long, but it was very obvious that Win was a huge part of this site. Looking back at all of his contributions, it is painfully obvious he will be missed. It is also a pity that new members will never know his fine work and willingness to help anyone at any time. Godspeed, Win.

Win made me feel so welcome here when I first joined this forum a few yars back.. He was always very thoughtful and kind. I am going to miss his post a great deal. My prayers go out to his wife and family. Life is all about making a difference and Win did just that. I will miss you Win.

Aww, Man!!!! When did this happen? I had no idea..... I was so looking forward to the Diamond Reo build he was on.... Wow.... I'm floored... I had no idea anything was wrong.... I do wish his wife well, and I grieve with her..... So sorry to hear about this.... The Lord has him, now, so he's in a much better place..... This is a sad day for the modeling community.....

A good friend and a fine man. H e always gave great tips and advice and tried to help us as modelers. I always enjoyed his truck driving stories, and visiting him and Dian was always a pleasure. A warm and loving couple who always made you feel welcome. Taken November 2010 at the Flying J in Ogden, UT.

Win was one of the first members to comment on my builds when I first joined the forums way back when...He always had a good word for you and cheered you on through tough builds and easy ones. Of course we did the same right back at him....I will miss him for his generosity and kindness and only wish I had signed on to see this earlier.....
so long, my friend!
