Hello everybody. I live in Kodiak, Alaska. I grew up in Oskaloosa Iowa, but moved here in 2001. I did live in Provo/Orem Utah in 1986-88. I've been modeling since 1960. I also have an N scale model railroad. I have a fascination with trucks, but minimal knowledge of the internal workings. I hope to rectify that by finding a couple of ACTIVE forums. My work is nowhere near as good as many of yours, so I don't take pictures of many of them. Since we're asked to post a couple of pictures in our introduction, I'll post my first stretch job, that many have already seen before. This is a Chevrolet Bison that I modified by stretching the frame and utilizing the wrecker body from the Pete wrecker. The picture is about two years old, and since I've BMF'd the slam locks, and completed the detail. I've thought about taking newer pictures, but I'd have to move it, and every time I move it, half a dozen parts fall off. Enjoy, and thanks to the administrators for inviting me.

The box is made up of the sleeper from the Chevy kit, and one from the General kit. I just now noticed that I didn't reverse the rear doors. I don't think that in 1:1 they'd be opening suicide style. I'm surprised I never caught that when I built it, or when I went back and did the detailing. I have a feeling that it's going to stay that way, because I don't have the courage to tear it apart again. LOL

...I just now noticed that I didn't reverse the rear doors... It makes it easier to access boths door without having to move. Nice job and welcome to the board.

It is good to see posts from other new guys! I feel less new. Very nice truck. I think part of what I enjoy about building trucks is that you can customize a lot of features to fit what you like. I think the sleeper makes the truck unique and gives it a personality. Just like a 1/1 whose owner customizes it.
