I don't remember seeing one of these posted, but that sure doesn't mean one hasn't been. Anyway, here's the one I built. Box stock and built before I knew about stripping chrome and puttying seams. I could never quite figure out why out of 10 drive wheels, only 8 rims were plated so the two painted ones are on the passenger side. Oh well. Thanks for taking a peek. Win

The original ALA KART was built by George Barris and his brother Sam, in I believe 1958, using a '29 model A ford. Seems to me like the cab was a '29 and the bed a '28 or the other way around. I built this model in 2005. I lost a bunch of pictures so had to retake in 2011 If you're interested, go to this site. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Barris_(auto_customizer)Thanks, Win

I have always admired this year of Mercury. That's dust on the roof and not in the paint...thankfully. Thanks, Win

This is the AMT with metal frame. What a pain in the patoot to work with.
Mr. Schooldude we both should be happy...I struck a happy medium with this one...Budds and Wobblers.
Thanks, Win
